Intermezzo

I'm currently back in the US, however briefly. The trip home was long and mostly uneventful; I won't bore you with the details. Things wrapped up at work, I gave a talk on my last day, got on a few planes, and now I'm in Ithaca for a week, then back to New Haven. I'll have a little time for catching up, unpacking, and indulging in all the amenities of first-world Western life, then back to Indonesia on Sept 3rd. My ticket home is for January 10th, and it looks like I'll be spending New Years looking for orangutans in Borneo. Til then, ciao a doppo.
